Antalya's largest residential district.
Kepez is the biggest residential district of Antalya, sprawling north from the airport ring road. Mostly long-stay apart-hotels for business travellers and Akdeniz University Hospital visitors.
Everyday, lived-in Antalya rather than postcard Antalya. Kepez is residential and unpretentious, a patchwork of apartment neighbourhoods, busy local markets, tea gardens and big shopping centres, all set inland against the foothills of the Taurus. The standout exception is Düdenbaşı, where a genuine waterfall and its green park drop a pocket of nature right into the middle of city life. You come here to feel the rhythm of a real Turkish city, not to lie on a beach.
The standout features that set Kepez apart from every other Antalya region.

Quick answers about transfers, distance and what to expect on arrival.
Most of Kepez sits close to AYT. The Düdenbaşı waterfall area is roughly 13 km away, about a 20-minute drive in normal traffic, while parts of Kepez near the airport and Mall of Antalya are even quicker. A private transfer drops you straight at your door without changes.
Yes. SooTransfer runs private door-to-door transfers from AYT to any address in Kepez, from waterfall-side guesthouses to apartments in Varsak or hotels near the malls. Your driver meets you in arrivals and takes you directly there, no shared stops along the way.
No. Kepez is an inland district about 10–12 km from the coast, so it has parks and a waterfall rather than a shoreline. For the beach you can reach Konyaaltı or Lara in a short drive or by tram, making Kepez a quieter, cheaper base with the sea still within easy reach.
The Upper Düden Waterfall is in Düdenbaşı within Kepez itself, so it's usually a short ride away. The T3 Antray tram stops at Şelale, from which it's about a one-kilometre walk, or your transfer driver can take you to the entrance directly. Entry to the park is paid.
It suits families, long-stay visitors and budget-minded travellers who want real city life, easy airport access, big shopping and green parks over resort facilities. If you're set on beachfront hotels and nightlife, Lara or Konyaaltı fit better, but Kepez offers space, value and a genuine local feel.
