A laid-back local favourite near Side — clear turquoise water, sand-and-pebble shore, and a wall of all-inclusive resorts.
Kızılağaç Beach sits on one of Manavgat's quietest stretches of coast, just west of historic Side and ringed by big four- and five-star resorts. The shoreline is a relaxed mix of soft sand and smooth pebbles, sloping into some of the clearest, most turquoise water on this part of the Mediterranean. It stays shallow and calm close in — lovely for paddling and easy swims — though the floor drops off quickly a little further out, so it pays to keep an eye on younger swimmers. This is a local-favourite "halk plajı" (public beach) rather than a party strip: think unhurried summer days, sunbeds under umbrellas, resort beach bars nearby and the columns of Side's Apollo temple a short drive away. Worth the trip if you want bright water without the crowds.

The simplest way is a private airport transfer. SooTransfer drives you straight from Antalya Airport (AYT) to Kızılağaç or your nearby resort in about 75 minutes over roughly 88 km — door to door, with luggage and child seats included. A private round-trip typically runs around €95–120 for the car (not per person), and on day trips we'll wait and bring you back whenever you're ready.
A private transfer wins for comfort and value. Public buses mean a slow ride to Manavgat plus a dolmuş change to Kızılağaç, which is painful with bags and kids. Metered taxis from the airport can cost as much as a pre-booked private car but with no fixed price or flight tracking. SooTransfer gives you a fixed fare, a meet-and-greet at arrivals, and a direct ride with no transfers.
Yes — it's a public 'halk plajı' with free access and parking nearby. You only pay if you want comfort: a sunbed-and-umbrella set is usually about €8–15 for the day, and resort beach clubs charge more for premium day-beds and table service. Bring cash for vendors.
It can be, with supervision. The water is clear and stays shallow and calm close to shore, which kids love, but it deepens quickly a bit further out — so keep an eye on younger or less confident swimmers. The mix of sand and pebbles makes water shoes a smart pack for little feet.
The water here is genuinely clear and the beach is well kept, but we can't confirm an official Blue Flag for the public beach specifically — several nearby Manavgat beaches hold the certification. Lifeguard cover isn't guaranteed on the public stretch and varies by season, so always swim cautiously and watch the drop-off.
