Soft golden sand, pine-backed shallows and a Blue Flag bay — Alanya's most family-friendly stretch of coast.
Avsallar Beach runs for roughly 3 km between Incekum Cape and Fugla Bay, a sheltered Blue Flag arc of soft golden sand backed by fragrant umbrella pines. The sea here shelves in slowly and stays shallow far from shore, so the water glows that famous clear Mediterranean turquoise and barely ever turns rough — the bay is naturally protected from wind. The Incekum end ("fine sand" in Turkish) is the softest, widest stretch, with the occasional flat natural rock slab near the waterline. The mood is calm and family-first rather than party-loud; lively Alanya nightlife sits 24 km east. With sunbeds, water sports, lifeguards and pine shade, it suits toddlers, swimmers and anyone who wants a proper sandy beach day without the resort crowds — well worth the run down the coast.

The simplest way is a SooTransfer private door-to-door transfer — about 108 km and 1 hour 20 minutes via the coastal road. A one-way private car (1–6 guests, luggage included) is around €75; a round-trip with our wait-and-return service for your beach day runs roughly €140, usually cheaper than two separate one-ways. Your driver meets you in arrivals, helps with bags, and drops you straight at the beach.
A private transfer wins for the 108 km run. The dolmuş/bus means changes in Antalya and Alanya plus a walk with luggage; a metered taxi from the airport costs more than our fixed price and you negotiate the return; group tours run fixed times. SooTransfer gives you a fixed fare, a private car, child seats on request, and the freedom to leave when you want.
Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport is much closer — about 42 km and 50 minutes versus 108 km and 80 minutes from Antalya. If your flight options allow GZP it's the quicker, cheaper transfer; if you land at AYT, we cover that route comfortably too.
Yes — it's one of the most family-friendly beaches on this coast. The sand is soft, the seabed shelves in slowly and stays shallow, the bay is sheltered from wind, and there are lifeguards, showers and changing cabins. Pine trees give natural shade for nap-time breaks.
